About This Event

Two part series!

Part 1 was online Sat. Feb 24 and Part 2 is in person on Sun. Jun 2 - Designing Fruit Tree Guilds

Learn how to create patches of thriving plants that readily yield food, medicine, beauty, and habitat! A guild consists of a variety of plants that support a central or key plant, in this case a fruit tree or shrub. Designing a guild to emulate the patterns of healthy habitats creates an ecologically balanced, and resilient ecosystem. The goal of this workshop is to teach you how to design patches of diverse, interrelated plants that are able to maintain themselves without our constant oversight and intervention.

9:30 to 12:30 p.m.
Part 2: Tour & Design, Sunday June 2, 2024
