A New Plan for the Old Hospital Site

"In an extraordinary turn of events, a non-profit group of local volunteers has placed a successful bid for the property with the hope of building much-needed affordable housing in town.

I live directly across the street from the old hospital and I’m very happy about this project! I can imagine a multi-story building with retail shops on the main floor and mixed income residential above. This would be such a great boost to the neighbourhood, expanding our bustling Main Street and providing affordable housing for local community members.
